Overview
Both the Port Aransas and Corpus Christi visitor bureaus publish shopping pages. The Corpus Christi bureau points to La Palmera mall for retail shops, dining and entertainment.
The Port Aransas tourism bureau describes shopping there as a place where coastal charm meets eclectic boutiques and local craftsmanship. It lists beachwear, handcrafted jewelry and one-of-a-kind souvenirs among the things to find. The Corpus Christi visitor bureau says you can go beyond the beach to browse chic boutiques and find Made in Corpus Christi goods for people back home.
For souvenirs, the Corpus Christi bureau also lists gift shops at the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington. The aquarium says its shop offers sustainable and responsible gifts and souvenirs. The bureau says the Lexington shop has naval-themed souvenirs, apparel, model ships and books on naval history.
